03 Aug Catch up
It has been a very eventful year so far and I do apologise for the long silence. Back in January we had our elections and Sr Patricia of the Heart of Mary was elected Prioress, and it was all change as sisters took up new work positions. Everything is going smoothly. On a very sad note we bid a heartbroken farewell to our beautiful dog Paddy. Only 8 years old, we had to have him put to sleep. His diabetes was proving impossible to control and it was obvious he was suffering. He was a lovely natured dog. The dog walkers in the area referred to him as “gentleman Paddy”. We miss him so much but can only be grateful he is no longer suffering. We also lost our little cat, Pip. After months of visits to the vet he also had to be put to sleep. He had some sort of tumour. A quiet little fellow, his gentle presence is missed, especially by his sisters Poppy and Heather. We still have a lot of hedgehogs and were pleased to see so many emerging in the spring, having made it through the winter.
The podcasts on the life of St Teresa will resume this Sunday.
