27 Nov ADVENT 2020
Advent is the time of waiting. The entire world at this moment is poised in expectancy, waiting in hope for the vaccines that will spell the beginning of the end of the Covid-19 pandemic and restore some normal life. We all share that hope, but we know a deeper hope as we wait and prepare for a fresh coming of Christ into our world, into our lives, liberating us from the plague of sin and selfishness that affects us individually and collectively. We share the hope Pope Francis spells out in Fratelli tutti for a better social order, nothing less than the Kingdom of God inaugurated by the birth of Jesus.
May you have a blessed and peaceful Advent, full of hope.
