THE VISIT OF THE RELICS OF ST THERESE

OCTOBER 12 2009

The relics of St Therese will arrive at our Monastery at 10am. After a welcome liturgy, the seminarians from Allen Hall will carry the reliquary in procession round the cloisters to the place of veneration. Everyone is welcome to venerate the relics between 10am - 2pm.

Along the cloister route there will be a display explaining the life and teaching of St Therese and a small museum of artefacts such as she would have known and used in Carmel. There will also be a Blessed Sacrament Chapel open for private prayer, and priests will be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

The farewell litugy will commence at 1.45pm and the relics will be carried out of the enclosure. All are most welcome to share with us the grace and joy of this special day.
