As we move into the season of Lent we pray that it will be a fruitful time for all our visitors, as we enter more deeply into the mystery of the saving love of Christ and reflect on the meaning and cost of discipleship.
We are having a busy start to Lent. Cardinal Vincent Nichols has arranged a seminar on March 9th for all the contemplative religious of the diocese, to reflect on the recent Apostolic Constitution of Pope Francis, Vultum Dei Quaerere (Seeking the Face of God), on women’s contemplative life in the Church. The Cardinal has asked if we could host the event.  We are honoured to do so and are now in the midst of preparations for having 47 people in the house for the day. We will have more to share when it is over and life is quiet again.
